Energy and Water Utilization Efficiency

Ajman University (AU) promotes energy and water efficiency through several key initiatives. A Building Management System (BMS) has been installed in new buildings, with plans to expand it to older ones, optimizing energy use. The university also conserves water with a sewage treatment plant, reverse osmosis plant, and hand-sensor operated wash basins.

A notable recent effort is the installation of a Solar Powered Lighting System in the parking area, reducing electricity consumption and operational costs while enhancing campus safety. These initiatives have led to notable reductions in energy and water expenditures:
