Environmental Sustainability Training: Our dedicated environmental sustainability training programs delve into a range of critical topics: understanding the intricacies of climate change and its far-reaching impacts; mastering resource conservation practices focusing on energy, water, and waste reduction; exploring sustainable business operations; energy efficiency and transitioning to renewable sources, decarbonization and Net-zero strategies, circular economy, climate adaptation and mitigation, food security, climate change impact on health, sustainable transportation and e-mobility, biodiversity and ecosystem preservation, climate justice, carbon footprint calculation, ESG standards, climate technology and innovation, and others.

Social Impact Training: Ajman University recognizes the importance of social aspects of sustainability and is dedicated to equipping its community with the tools to create positive change. These programs cover a wide range of topics, including social responsibility, diversity, equity and inclusion, community engagement, ethical leadership, social entrepreneurship, occupational health and safety, food safety and nutrition, quality education, mental health, CPR and first aid, fire safety, emergency preparedness, anti-smoking, women empowerment, fitness and healthy living, wellbeing and stress management, future skills and more.

The training duration is tailored to the specific program and audience. Employees and students, on average, receive a substantial 25 hours of sustainability training annually, ensuring they are well-equipped to contribute to the University's sustainability goals. Students benefit from encountering sustainability topics throughout their curriculum, as well as through dedicated workshops and initiatives. This holistic approach fosters a deep understanding of environmental sustainability and empowers everyone at Ajman University to become active agents of positive change.
