Dr. Muna Salameh Leads LEED Green Associate Certification Workshop in Partnership with Quadra Plus and the Teaching and Learning Centre

Dr. Muna Salameh coordinated a LEED training workshop in collaboration with Quadra Plus Professional and Management Development Training, in partnership with the Teaching and Learning Centre, held in May 2023.

The workshop aimed to help both students and staff become certified LEED Green Associates (GA), a foundational step towards achieving the prestigious LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) designation. This credential, awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), recognizes advanced practical knowledge in sustainable building practices and demonstrates a commitment to the green building movement. It is highly regarded by employers, clients, and colleagues in the environmental and construction industries.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an internationally recognized, voluntary, third-party rating system developed by the USGBC to evaluate the environmental performance of buildings and promote sustainable design practices.
