Sustainability Officer

Fatima Alali is a Sustainability Officer at Ajman University with a strong focus on advancing environmental, social, and economic sustainability across campus operations and community initiatives. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Sustainability from Zayed University and is a member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP).

She is experienced in conducting sustainability assessments, implementing institutional policies, and aligning initiatives with global frameworks such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), GRI, and QS Sustainability rankings. Fatima works closely with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders to drive impactful sustainability initiatives, monitor performance metrics, and support the achievement of Ajman University’s sustainability goals.

A key aspect of her role is student engagement, where she mentors students in sustainability-focused competitions, guides their projects, and oversees their participation in local and international conferences. She is committed to empowering youth to become sustainability leaders and fostering meaningful student involvement in real-world environmental solutions.
