Rami Elhadi serves as Administrative Coordinator at the Office of Sustainability, Ajman University, where he drives partnerships, project and operational coordination to advance the Ajman University's sustainability agenda.

He acts as the coordinator between the Office of Sustainability and external stakeholders, including industry partners, government entities, and community organizations, fostering collaborations that support shared environmental goals. He oversees key sustainability initiatives such as the Hydroponic Solar-Powered Net House and the Solar Sustainability Hub. He is also involved in community-driven initiatives, ensuring they are delivered effectively and align with AU strategic priorities. His role also involves coordinating internal office operations, preparing reports, conducting safety compliance audits, and mentoring students in the development of innovative sustainability solutions.

Rami holds an MSc in Occupational Hygiene and Safety from the University of Sharjah, where his research focused on quantitative microbial risk assessment of aerosolized pathogens in wastewater treatment—work bridging public health, occupational safety, and environmental management. His research contributions include multiple publications on topics such as occupational exposure to SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater, indoor air quality assessment, and emerging contaminants in aquatic environments. He also earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health Sciences.

His technical expertise is grounded in extensive hands-on training across UAE federal and local entities, including the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, Sharjah Municipality, and Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority.

Rami is a member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals and the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. He has participated in COP28 and numerous regional sustainability forums, and holds the COSHH Risk Assessor certification.
