Ajman University Enhances Fire Safety with Comprehensive Training
In April 2022, Ajman University took a proactive step to strengthen its fire safety measures. The university provided fire marshal training to faculty and staff, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to fire emergencies.
The training covered a range of essential topics, including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and proper fire extinguisher usage. Participants learned how to assess fire risks, respond to alarms, and guide others to safety. The overwhelming response from faculty and staff demonstrated their commitment to maintaining a secure campus environment.
By investing in fire marshal training, Ajman University is reinforcing its dedication to sustainability and community safety. This initiative aligns with SDG #11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), which emphasizes the importance of creating safe and resilient urban environments. Additionally, the training supports SDG #3 (Good Health and Well-being) by preventing injuries and fatalities in emergencies.
