Ajman University, in partnership with the Universities Climate Network (UCN), recently hosted the COP28 session titled "Climate Changers: Transforming the Climate Narrative Through Inclusive Youth Voices." Held on December 12, 2023, at the Expo City Pavilion’s Green Zone, the 45-minute event, moderated by Maya Haddad, Sustainability Manager at Ajman University, showcased the critical role of youth in leading climate action.
The session brought together young leaders from initiatives like the Student Energy Summit, COY18, and the Climate Ambassadors Programme, highlighting how youth are reshaping the global climate narrative. Discussions centered on the importance of inclusivity, diversity, and innovative solutions in climate leadership. The event emphasized strategies to empower the next generation through education, mentorship, and collaboration.
