Ajman University Joins Executive Committee of HSE Expo Led by SNOC

Ajman University has been invited to join the Executive Committee for HSE Expo 2026, an initiative led by Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) aimed at promoting excellence in health, safety, and environmental practices among organizations across the UAE.

Representing Ajman University, Maya Haddad, Senior Sustainability Manager, attended the Executive Committee Kick-off Meeting held on 29 September 2025 at the Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort in Sharjah. The meeting established the foundation for the committee's work and provided an opportunity to align on objectives, roles, and expectations for the upcoming expo.

The kick-off meeting began with a welcome and opening remarks outlining the purpose of forming the Executive Committee and emphasizing the importance of collective leadership for HSE Expo 2026. Members introduced themselves to build collaboration, followed by a presentation of the event's goals, scope, and vision. The committee then clarified roles, responsibilities, meeting frequency, and expectations, and discussed strategies for expanding partnerships and stakeholder engagement.

Participants also reviewed proposed themes, program structure, and event branding to ensure alignment with objectives and stakeholder expectations, before confirming priorities, responsibilities, and timelines for the road ahead.

Ajman University's participation on the Executive Committee reflects its recognized expertise in health, safety, and environmental practices and its commitment to advancing these standards across the UAE.
