Ajman University contributed to the Ajman Sewerage NextGen Innovators Competition 2025, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability-focused education and youth engagement. The University’s involvement reflects its ongoing efforts to support initiatives that encourage innovation, environmental responsibility, and real-world problem solving.
Organized by Ajman Sewerage, the competition brought together school students to develop creative, technology-driven solutions addressing key challenges related to water management, environmental protection, and community wellbeing. The initiative aligned with national sustainability priorities and provided students with a platform to translate ideas into practical applications.
The competition concluded with final presentations and an awards ceremony held at the Ajman Saray Ballroom on 21 November 2025, bringing together student innovators, judges, and key stakeholders. Outstanding teams were recognized with cash prizes, medals, and certificates, including awards for the top three teams and the best presenter, in recognition of their creativity and solution feasibility.
Ajman University was represented on the judging panel by Ms. Maya Haddad, Senior Sustainability Manager, contributing the University’s sustainability expertise to the evaluation of student proposals and reinforcing its role in supporting applied learning and community collaboration.
